Welcome to St. Elizabeth’s Primary School. I am very pleased to have this opportunity to tell you about the work and the activities that take place at our school and the Christian values under which it operates.

Entering school is an important step in the life of any child and at St. Elizabeth’s we endeavour to make your child’s time here happy and productive.

As parents you naturally want the best for your child and we take that responsibility very seriously. We have high expectations of our children and we are proud of their achievements and the happy atmosphere that they create.   Everyone at St. Elizabeth’s is special and is valued for the contribution that they make to the life of the school as well as the work that they do as individuals.

Y4 Trip to Stafford Castle

We are planning to take the children to Stafford Castle on Wednesday 1st March, 2017. They will be taking part in activities to include a tour of the castle, coin minting, brass rubbing and have a discussion on the local history. We will be leaving school by coach at 9.15am prompt and returning at approximately 3pm. The children are required to wear school uniform, and to bring a waterproof coat in case of bad weather. We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £10.40 to cover the cost of a guide, entrance and transport.

World Book Day

On Thursday 2nd March 2017, we will be celebrating World Book day. We are inviting all children to dress up as one of their favourite book characters (with sensible outdoor footwear) and to bring in their favourite book.
