Friends Events
The Friends of St. Elizabeth's are a group of parents and staff, who organise a range of events and activities. All proceeds raised go to purchasing new equipment for the benefit of pupils within school - so please support as many Friends events as you can! Parents, family members, friends and neighbours are all welcome.
School Calendar The school calendars have now nearly sold out. To purchase one of the few remaining copies please contact the School Office. Each calendar costs £6 or £10 for two. Please make cheques payable to ‘The friends of St Elizabeth’s’.
Quiz Night
On Saturday 28th January, the Friends held the first quiz night of 2012 with over a dozen teams taking part and included general knowledge questions ranging from what food Kate Moss ate on her hen-do (answer - fish & chips!), from which country does Pilsner Beer originate (answer - Czech Republic), to words beginning and ending with the letter T (e.g. teapot). If teams didn't know the correct answer, their guesses were very creative and lots of fun!
A fantastic night was had by all - well done to Mrs McSweeney's team who were the overall winners - although she promised that this was a complete fluke as this is the first time her team has ever won in all the years they have attended!
Thank you and well done to everyone who supported this event, we have raised £193.00 which will be used to purchase items for our pupils to use within school.
