I hope you have all had an enjoyable school holidays and are fully re-charged and ready to learn!

Our topic this half term is tomb raiders. We will be transporting back to the time of the Egyptians with the help of Ka, the time traveling cat, where we will find out what it was like to live in Egyptian times, studying Gods, methods of communication and homes as well as many other things. We will be creating an information text, poems, newspaper articles and writing a story set in Egypt. We will also be looking at the ceremony conducted when Egyptians died including the mummification process and canopic jars.
