Our Charity Work

The staff and children of St Elizabeth's are proud to support a number of charities throughout the school year.

This is done in the knowledge that Jesus calls us to help others.  We do this in a number of ways.  Sometimes we donate money by wearing our own clothes,  sometimes we give up toast on one day and donate the money to a charity.  We donate food through our Harvest festival or via the foodbank.  We bring in old toys or clothes to give to others in need.  During Lent we focus on particular charities including our local charity 'Heart of Tamworth', CAFOD, The Good Shepherd appeal and often charities that may be more relevant at the time.  We collect shoeboxes during the Autumn term to support the Samaritan's Purse appeal.  We also support the Royal British legion during the Poppy appeal.   For the most up to date information on our current focus, please contact the school office or speak to your child's teacher.
