Our Parish

Our close link with the Parish of St John the Baptist, Tamworth, is very important to us and our school. We work closely with our Priests and Deacons.  We also serve the community of St Michael the Archangel and St James the Less in Haunton.

Our faith is put in to action regularly throughout the day through the daily acts of collective worship. Assemblies and prayer services throughout the week are rooted in the teachings of Jesus and the Gospel values.

Our children are taught to become kind, respectful, forgiving and caring young people. Great care is taken to make links between the Gospels and our day to day behaviour and treatment of others.

Jesus is at the heart of our school and as such we welcome and value equally all members of our school community, Catholics and non Catholics alike.

Our school motto, ‘We listen, learn and grow with Jesus’ reflects the ethos of our school, and we are proud to share our faith with each other.

We are also lucky to have Dan Marsh working with our school who is a Youth Chaplain based at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Secondary School.  He regulary visits our school to support our journey in faith.

As part of our charity work we support the Heart of Tamworth project.  In recent fundraising we have supported the new building work for St John's Church and we colllect food at Harvest time to donate to those in need.
