School Council

St.Elizabeth’s has a dedicated and effective school council chaired by Mrs McSweeney. We meet every two weeks to discuss any issues raised by the pupils of the school during class councils, to make our school better. Our School Council is made up of 2 children from each class.

School Council Update

The School Council have succeeded in making our school better in lots of ways including; in helping with the design of the tyre park, obtaining funding for the building an outside reading area; designing a sensory garden and much more.  Most recently following feedback from pupils, the Friends of St Elizabeth's donated £100 so that the School Council could purchase new equipment for children to play with during lunchtimes.

We are now working with Catholic cluster of schools and we meet once a term.

We have also put recycling bins across our school and staff room in order to save paper, we have been learning how to grow things in our garden such as beans, potatoes and sunflowers!  Our Eco Ambassadors are committed to encouraging all members of our school to follow the Eco Code.
